Safe by design and structure
The bottom of the basket is made from high-quality birch plywood — solid and flexible, it won't bend or deform.
Combined with the coconut fiber mattress (EN 16890 certified), it provides a firm and safe sleeping surface for a newborn.
Our Standard Moses baskets (with and without hood) and their Standard rocking stand are certified to the European safety standard EN 1466:2023.
Designed for babies from birth to 5 months
This type of bassinet is designed for the first 4–5 months of a baby's life. But we prefer to be guided by weight rather than age.
Anzy Home bassinets are suitable for babies up to 20 lb (9 kg) or until the baby starts to roll over, push up, or crawl — whichever comes first.
Handmade, natural and safe
Each basket is unique. We hand-crochet every basket in our workshop in Ukraine, with fair working conditions. We use natural cotton certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, product class I — articles for babies and toddlers (up to 36 months). This means it has passed safety tests for harmful substances.

Whoever said this thing can hold a 20 lb baby has obviously never put an actual baby in one. My baby is 11 lb and outgrown it already.
The sides are way too low and not deep enough. Unless your baby is lethargic, when they kick, their legs will reach over the side very easily. Significant safety risk. The baby in the attached photo is 3 weeks old and can already reach legs outside the bassinet.
I was only able to use this for 2-3 months and my baby is much smaller than average. Don't fall for their marketing. This is an XS, and the "XL" is actually a normal size.
Also their customer service is terrible. I knew the first time I put the baby inside it was going to be too small. I reached out to exchange for the XL and they refused because I opened the box and damaged the PACKAGING. Not the actual bassinet, that's right, just the packaging being damaged was enough for them to refuse an exchange. They referred me to their return policy which states that returns/exchanges are only valid in original packaging.
This is all after I waited months for the bassinet to arrive. In fact, the website listed the product as in stock, but at a higher price. Meanwhile they emailed me to let me know my pre-order was delayed, and if I cancelled and ordered an "in stock" one I'd have to pay the higher price.
So they basically prioritized fulfilling new orders at the higher price over fulfilling the pre-orders that had been waiting for months. Taking money from new customers and claiming the product is in stock while simultaneously informing existing pre orders that they're delayed by weeks is disingenuous and downright shady.
Even more frustrating that it turned out to be too small since it wasn't delivered until weeks after the baby was born. Still customer service refused to empathize and help a pair of first time parents.
The product looks beautiful, don't get me wrong. But horrible, shady and deceptive company, would not recommend doing business with them.
The Baby Moses Basket is so cozy for our little one and beautifully woven so that it fits into the aesthetic we would like for our home! It’s a win win. It is also wonderfully portable so that our little one can hang out and nap near us wherever we need to move in the house. Customer service was also very responsive and kind in providing us with order updates. Highly recommend!
Anna, I really enjoyed working with you and your company! You do beautiful work and the basket is well with cost and the weight! I will definitely be coming to you again for your moses baskets in the future and will for pass your name and company on! Thank you again it truly was a pleasure!

The Anzyhome moses basket, stands, pads, and sheets are a beautifully made system for newborn infants. The build is of high quality, we love the aesthetic of it, and we love some of the functionality (for example, having different height stands that the basket can drop into). However, there are also some issues:
1.) Don't expect to be able to easily carry the basket in one hand with or without an infant in it. The handles look like they should allow this, but we didn't find it to be feasible. The handles are placed in such a way that it looks like it carries well, almost like a suitcase. However, while the handles are well built and durable, they are bulky enough + short enough + far apart enough that it is hard to get a good grasp of the basket in one hand. With an infant in it, the problem is even worse - and with high consequences. We've decided that the grasp is poor enough that it'd be quite dangerous to one-hand the basket with our baby in it, and often it doesn't even feel secure to one-hand it without a baby. I wish the handles were a bit thinner and longer so that you could carry the basket easily in one hand - even if they officially recommend not doing this with a baby for obvious liability reasons.
2.) The basket can be easily mis-mounted on the stand such that it looks secure but is not. There are two little wooden pieces on the bottom of the basket that symmetrically nest well with the crossbars of the stand. However, if you place the basket down one inch forward or one inch backward of center... it will still visually look quite centered and secure, but actually isn't and could slip off. Multiple different family members have independently made this mistake and fortunately caught it (by having to crouch down and closely look/feel). It'd be nice if the basket-stand engagement were more obviously correct or incorrect with visual, tactile, or auditory aids.
3. The stand's curved rocker tracks sticking out each end look nice, but when you go to stand close to the basket, you can easily accidentally step on the protruding rocker "foot"... which then can violent rock the basket toward you as your weigh lands on the rocker and cause quite a startle. If the vertical legs went to the end of the curved rocker tracks such that there was no protruding foot portion, there would be nothing to accidentally step on.
We want so much to fully love this product, but these caveats are preventing us from being there. Hopefully it can be improved in time!

Hi - I got the basket. It’s wonderful quality. However, the fitted sheet was too tight and didn’t fit the mattress, I was pretty upset about this because I wanted the baby to try it out, and paid a good amount of money for the product.
The baby moses basket is absolutely gorgeous!
